Level 1 Ballet for Absolute beginners breaks down the technique of ballet in a clear a concise way to understand the world of ballet dance. Follow the order of the barres for 2 weeks before moving to the next barre to practice and fine tune ballet technique. Ballet Barre introduces you to basic ballet movements that train the technique, strength, balance and flexibility needed for dance. Center combinations and technique helps piece together the movement into longer phrases for memory building and technique practice. This is Barre 4, skills and Center combos.

    Rond de Jambe translates to "Round of the Leg." Rond de jambe continues to warm up of the body by moving up the leg and finding greater movement of the hip. This is combo 4 and builds on previous combo.

  • L 1 Ballet Barre Fondu and Rond de Jambe en L’air

    Fondu translates "to melt" or "sinking down" and Rond de Jambe en L’air to "round of the leg in the air" Rond de Jambes can be done a variety of ways including a terre - on the ground or en l'air-in the air. These skills and combos continue to build strength, stamina and coordination.

    Grand translates to "large" or "big." Battement translates to "beat." Grand Battements are great at really warming up the hips with large movement and getting the blood flowing. This is combo 4 and builds on the previous combo.
