Degagé translates to "disengage." Great way to start to warm up the muscles of the feet and calves and build the nice ballet line of the foot. Degagés up the pace from the tendus and releases the foot slightly from the floor to engage and warm up more muscle groups. This combo progresses to a slightly harder version from the previous combo.
