L 1 Ballet Sauté-Jump Practice
Learn basic Sautés in this series of videos. Sautés can be done many ways such as hops, jumps or leaps. Only jump at home if you have a safe space to jump. Avoid jumping on solid floors or concrete. A yoga mat folded could provide some shock absorption. Jumps can be modified for low to no impact and are great for stamina. Please do a full ballet barre before doing any jumping.

Expanding on the Sautés, this next set of skills are slightly more complicated than the previous. As always be sure to warm-up AND do the previous Sautés before doing these. Glissade translates "to glide" Pas de Chat to "step of the cat" sissonne is named after the inventor of the step.
